An inmate at the Orleans Parish Prison died Thursday night after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest, Orleans Parish sheriff's officials said. Samuel Gore, M.D., the medical director of the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office, said that inmate Wardel Taylor collapsed on a tier with an apparent cardiac arrest.
