WASHINGTON-President Barack Obama's pick to head the Interior Department, Sally Jewell, owns or recently owned stock in several major oil companies, including Exxon Mobil Corp. and ConocoPhillips, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. If confirmed for the job, Ms. Jewell will be in a position to decide how much oil and natural-gas drilling takes place on federal lands and in U.S.
