Microsoft has paused the Windows 7.8 update for older Windows Phone devices like the Nokia Lumia 800, 900 and 610, holding many mobiles on Windows 7.5 as it works to fix a glitch in the software. I've confirmed with Nokia that the update has indeed been halted for now -- sorry news indeed for Lumia owners gagging to get hold of the new software.
