@MatthewJBrown @daveminchala yeah totally agree. There are too many symptoms, IMO. Deindexed links, overoptimization. So much going on.

@daveminchala but I've also seen filters on specific keywords from over optimization w/ a lot of links still live, you're right. @randfish

Panda updates, blog networks deindexed, Penguin. All of these make it hard to diagnose problems easily. It's doable, but tricky. Be careful.

@jaredmckiernan @cstechjoel small-ish sample size for sure. But the client's domain is more inline w/ content than my regular email address.

Interesting find. Tested outreach from 2 email accounts - client and Distilled. Emails from Distilled domain got better response.

@charliesaidthat well @rustybrick wrote about it today about directories. I'm seeing it broader in a client's BL profile from another agency

Client has 5 terms they targeted with aggressive anchor text. Every term saw at least 30% (some up to 70) drop in Penguin. No other term hit

@seohimanshu what do you mean? Big clients do care about their brand voice? I agree that some do, but not enough.
