RT @nirave: Ahead of my Galaxy Gear review (in a couple of hours) - the media who say it's pointless are pointless reviewers who didn't actually use it!
Observing tech trends is one of the most interesting things you can do. Numbers, analysis, reviews, comments...
Close to it comes Wired's November 2012 GN2 review. Equally bad. This week's reviews follow closely.
Reminds of that Gizmodo GS4 review back in April. I've read crappy reviews but that was a new low. Not been beaten yet.
Look at Anandtech reviews. They usually come much later after those who write for Googlebots have had their day but are more comprehensive
Rushed reviews by reviewers who never take their time to understand the platform and the device. They just rush to beat editorial deadlines
I think this week's device reviews (Xbox One, Lumia 1520, Lumia 2520) are the last ones I'm reading from the big tech blogs. Disappointed.
But as always, The Verge's review of the 1520 is too focused on the negative. I find it biased to (you know what). Sigh
"No way to buy or rent video to watch offline yet..." The Verge's review of Lumia 1520. Sema first world problems.
Now to read the first PS4 reviews. Lust and envy written all over my face.
LOL. A water review? "@martingicheru: New PR firm, new f*ck ups, just got invited to a launch of Mumias drinking water. DRINKING WATER!!"
