Okay. I changed the headline of my last G+ post...
Anyone have a better headline for me? Thank you. "3 Secrets For Creating Killer Content Like You're SEAL Team 6"
lol. What kind of a headline was that? Sometimes I just crack myself up. I'll probably go ahead and change that to something less, um, yeah.
I suspect that I'll change that headline/title sometime shortly after I wake up. Hey, it's late. What can I tell you?
Sometimes, I just want to write headlines that have nothing to do with the body copy... Like, "How Google Reader Destroyed My Family".
A good title or headline and consistent subheadings are critical to a successful post. I do it wrong. I start with what's on my mind.
@YouTooCanBeGuru With G+, I tend to post first and then come up with a good headline and tighten with editing later. :-)
I have no idea why I thought that first headline was ready to post... A good headline takes as much thought and work as the post itself.
The headline is one of the most important elements of a blog post. Unfortunately, I rushed this one. Silly me. :-)
I did not get many click-throughs with my latest G+ post. Posted at two different times... I bet it's the headline that needs some fixin'.
On my drive home tonight, I was thinking up all these great linkbait types of headlines... Too bad I don't have blog posts to go with them.
I've found that the best headlines aren't the ones that begin with "How To" or "5 Ways To" but rather those that challenge the reader's ego.
Remind me to write something about the importance of using a strong headline... Not using a headline, even on G+, is a mistake.
