House takes up far-reaching anti-abortion bill
John Boehner claims he has no intention of pushing a bill that violates GOP ‘principles' - "This is President Obama's number one political agenda item because he knows we will never again have a Republican president, ever, if amnesty goes into effect. We will perpetually have a progressive, liberal president, probably a Democrat, and we will probably see the House of Representatives go into Democrat hands and the Senate will stay in Democrat hands," Bachmann said.
She also said that if it passes, the bill will create a permanent progressive class. The Global Dispatch

WHEN A SOLDIER
COMES HOME
This email is being circulated around
the world~~~please keep it going
When a soldier comes home, he
finds it hard to.....
listen to his son whine about
being bored.
....to keep a straight face when
people complain about potholes.
To be tolerant of people who
complain about the hassle of getting ready for work.
...to be understanding when a
co-worker complains about a bad night's sleep.
..to be silent when people pray to
God for a new car.
....to control his panic when his
wife tells him he needs to drive slower.
..to be compassionate when a
businessman expresses a fear of flying.
....to keep from laughing when
anxious
parents say they're afraid to send their
kids off to summer camp.
....to keep from ridiculing
someone who complains about hot weather.
....to control his frustration
when a colleague gripes about his coffee being
cold.
....to remain calm when his
daughter complains about having to walk the
dog.
.....to be civil to people who
complain about their jobs.
.....to just walk away when
someone says they only get two weeks of vacation a
year.
....to be forgiving when someone
says how hard it is to have a new baby in the house.
The
only thing harder than being a Soldier...
Is loving one.
I was asked
to pass this on and I will gladly do so!! Will
you???
No one has been able to explain to
me why young men and women serve in the
U.S. Military for
20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only
get
50% of their pay on retirement. While Politicians hold
their political positions
In the safe confines of the
capital, protected by these same men and women, and
Receive
full-pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not
make any sense.
If each person who receives this
will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in
The United States of America will have the message. This is
one proposal that really should be passed
around.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United
States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies
to the citizens of the United States that does not apply
equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress
shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or
Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of
the United States."
You are one of my 20+. I
passed it on, will you?
"If you choose not to decide, you
still have made a choice," and these brave soldiers have given
you that right!!
The National Review article by Deroy Murdock cited the comment from Indiana Republican Gov. Oliver Morton condemning Democrats for their racism.
"Every one who shoots down Negroes in the streets, burns Negro schoolhouses and meeting-houses, and murders women and children by the light of their own flaming dwellings, calls himself a Democrat," Morton said.
This is how I heard YOUR WEEK was going....
First you had trouble getting out of bed
You had a stiff neck
Your new diet really doesn't seem to be working out
You pulled a muscle when you tried to exercise
Your new hat looked better on you at the store
You keep losing things
You got caught in the rain at lunchtime
Then the lunch you had didn't seem to agree with you
You feel trapped
Uninvited guests showed up at dinnertime
On top of that you think you're coming down with the flu
And finally, you're alone in the house at night when you think you hear a noise in the basement
MAYBE TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER!!
Thought for the Day
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
Just pee on it and walk away.

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois.
And he is going to "fix" Washington politics for us?
George Ryan is no longer governor; he's in the big house. Of course, he was
replaced by Rob Blagojevich who is... that's right, also in the big house.
And Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned a couple of weeks ago/ That's because he
is fighting being sent to... right again, the big house!

NOT ALL THIEVES ARE STUPID!!
A very interesting article. The electronic age has produced electron criminals.
NOW HEAR THIS...NOT ALL THIEVES ARE STUPID!!
1. A friend of a friend left their car in the long-term parking at San Jose while away, and someone broke into the car. Using the information on the car's registration in the glove compartment, they drove the car to the people's home in Pebble Beach and robbed it. So I guess if we are going to leave the car in long-term parking, we should not leave the registration/insurance cards in it, nor your remote garage door opener. This gives us something to think about with all our new electronic technology.
2. GPS.
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and
specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard. When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen. The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.
Something to consider if you have a GPS - don't put your home address in it... Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know
where you live if your GPS were stolen.
3. MOBILE PHONES
I never thought of this.......
This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet, etc., was stolen. 20
minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says 'I received your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago.' When they rushed
down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.
Moral of the lesson:
a. Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....
b. And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.
c. Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.
*PLEASE PASS THIS ON
* I never thought about the above!
As of now, I no longer have 'home' listed on my cell phone.
Even if this does not pertain to you....Pass it on to your family and friends.
Slow down. Slow down. How about a little foreplay?" - House Speaker John Boehner, quoted by ABC News, joking that with bipartisan conversations on immigration reform taking place it's too early to talk about specific legislation.
